We told our readers earlier that Nokia is going to launch their new Lumia smartphone on May 14th in London, but what we don’t know is what will be launch by the Finnish handset-maker during their event. Another report on a Chinese website www.windowsphonebar.cn states that Nokia is going to launch Lumia 925 Windows Phone 8 smartphone, earlier dubbed as Nokia Catwalk.
The website also states that the Nokia Lumia 925 will be the global variant of Lumia 928, which is rumored to be launched in the US on Verizon Wireless later this month. It is also said that along with the launch of Lumia 925, Nokia will also unveil their EOS smartphone which is rumored to feature 41-megapixel PureView camera of Nokia 808 PureView, running on Windows Phone 8.
Nokia Lumia 925 is expected to have most of the same specs and features as rumored in Verizon Lumia 928. The specs of Lumia 928 or we should say Lumia 925 will include a 4.5-inch display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel PureView camera like that in Lumia 920. The handset will not have the in-built wireless charging capability, but will have cover shells that will charge the device wirelessly.
Nothing is confirmed about these reports, we are only a few days away from Nokia’s May 14th launch date. We’ll know what Nokia is going to unveil at their event and we sure will share the details with our readers. So, stay tuned.
