Nokia Lumia 920 smokes iPhone 5, HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III in low-light camera shootout

Having witnessed the Nokia Lumia 920 smoke the iPhone in an image stabilization test, the Engadget team pitted Espoo's finest against the HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy SIII and the iPhone in a low light camera test. The Engadget crew were given exclusive access to a comprehensive testing suite at Nokia's research and development facility in Tampere, Finland.
As can be seen in the images (above and below), the Nokia Lumia 920 was king. Admittedly, the iPhone's images were not that bad but were no where near a clear as the Lumia's. The HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III were downright useless.
Interestingly, the origional PureView device, the Nokia 808 was also present as a somewhat control device. A lot has been made of how the PureView technology on the Lumia 920 was nothing more that a gimmick, but the images from both devices are almost of a similar quality, proving that the technology on the 920 is a as good as the 808.
