Viber for Windows Phone adds VOIP calls but goes Lumia-exclusive for the meantime

It's been almost two weeks since we reported that the Viber application for Windows Phone with VOIP (Voice Over IP) was coming to Windows Phone as a Nokia exclusive. We thought the update was imminent but for some unknow reason it has taken ages for the application to find it's way to the Windows Phone Marketplace. Here is what the developers said:

Viber is also releasing a completely new version for Nokia Lumia phones running the Windows Phone 7 platform. Viber now offers Nokia Windows Phone 7 users free HD-quality phone calls and group messaging in addition to free text and photo messages. This version was developed in partnership with Nokia and is currently available exclusively on Nokia Lumia phones.
We expect the exclusivity to last a few weeks as most Nokia exclusive applications do before being made available to all other Windows Phone devices. In the meantime, if you have a Nokia Lumia Windows Phone you can hit the download button or use Bing Vision to scan the QR Code with your device to get the app.
