Flagship HTC 8X with Windows Phone 8 announced

HTC has announced their flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone. HTC's Peter Chou took to the stage today and announced their new Windows Phones with Pride and excitement, right alongside Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Take a look at the HTC 8X Windows Phone 8 device

Features:

  • 4.3-inch Super LCD II 720p display

  • 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset

  • 8-megapixel f2/0 BSI camera

  • 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle 88 degrees lens

  • Beats Audio

  • 16GB of internal storage

  • No SD-slot

  • LTE (not in the UK)

  • Wi-Fi a/b/g/n

  • NFC

  • Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
The flagship 8X and mid-range 8S are new "from the ground up", HTC claim, and emphasise high quality camera and audio functions. Both handsets will launch in early November and should be out before Nokia's new Lumia devices.
