LG: 'We have no specific plans for other platforms'

Having announced that they wont be making any further Windows Phone handsets in the immediate future after claiming that "the total unit of Windows Phones they sold in the global market was not a meaningful figure," it's not surprising that the South Korean company has re-iterated that they intend to concentrate on manufacturing Android devices despite playing second fiddle to fellow South Korean OEM, Samsung.
During the Optimus G launch event, LG Mobile Communications CEO Park Jong Seok said told reporters that the company had "no specific plans for other mobile platforms". This effectively means we shouldn't expect any new Windows Phone 8 devices from LG.
The loss of LG as a Windows Phone OEM will have no bearing on sales as LG was hardly selling any Windows Phone devices. Their last effort, the Jil Sander got a lukewarm reception in Germany, a country with 7%+ Windows Phone market share. It also goes a long way to explain why the Miracle and/or Fantasy didn't see the light of day. Personally, i would rather have a 2 or 3 OEM's giving delivering quality Windows Phone devices that a dozen giving us shoddy phones.
Anyone out there going to be missing LG Windows Phone?
