Nokia today unveiled their first Windows Phone 8 handset, the Nokia Lumia 920. The stunning device looks to excel in the photography and navigation departments. It features a WXGA (1280x768) 4.5-inch display that uses "Nokia PureMotion HD+" which Nokia claims to be "better than HD." It also has a curved glass display that delivers blur-free motion from video and app scrolling thanks to "PureMotion HD+" processing technology. It comes with 32GB of storage and 1GB of RAM.

The Nokia Lumia 910 is powered by a Qualcomm 1.5GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 processor and PureView imaging technology in the 8MP shooter. Nokia's Jo Harlow boasted that the Lumia 920 takes "the best photos and videos of any smartphone," claiming that it rivals SLR cameras. The Lumia 920 will have a similar polycarbonate uni-body as the Lumia 900 and will be available in yellow, red, black, white and slate gray.

As expected, the Lumia 920 come with NFC and wireless charging. Wireless charging comes with a separate accessory, though the Qi standard means other wireless charging mats should work with the Lumia 920. Virgin Atlantic and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are partnering with Nokia too to start offering wireless charging in their departure lounges and stores. Stay tuned for more..
