Samsung Windows Phone 8 devices leaked, bringing NFC and 4.65' SAMOLED HD display [Update]

A couple of Samsung Windows Phone 8 devices appear to have been revealed in court documents submitted by Samsung in their patent case against Apple. The documents show that Samsung is planning the "Odyssey" and "Marco" Windows Phone 8 handsets.

The LTE "Odyssey" appears to be the flagship, boasting of a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with HD resolution, an 8MP main camera and a 2MP shooter at the front. The Odyssey is marked as an NFC device, suggesting it will support the Wallet Hub and the Tap & Send feature. It will be powered by Qualcomm's MSM8960 1.5GHz dual-core processor. We suspect this will turn out to be the Samsung Focus S2.

Although the lesser "Marco" appears to be a solid mid-range devices, its still packs a mean punch hardware-wise. Just like big-bro "Odyssey," the Marco will be LTE enabled but lacks NFC. It will feature a 4-inch S-AMOLED display with WVGA resolution, a 5MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing one. It will also be powered by Qualcomm's MSM8960 1.5GHz dual-core processor. We suspect this will be the Samsung Focus 3 when it's launched.

The documents suggest that both devices will be launched in Q4 this year, which is about the same time Windows Phone 8 will launch. Given how Samsung has distributed their Windows Phone devices in the past, we wouldn't be surprised if these two never leave the American shores.

What do you guys think, are these the sort of devices that will make you think twice about getting Windows Phone 8 Lumia device?

[Update]
We reached out to Samsung for an official comment and they sent us this generic statement:

Samsung is in collaboration with Microsoft to bring new mobile devices to our customers. However, at this time we cannot comment on the product release schedule. We will be able to update you more in the future. Samsung provides a variety of choices to consumers by offering mobile devices on various platforms.
