HTC Evangelist: You'll be pleased if you hold out for our Windows Phone 8 handsets

Leigh Momii, an HTC Developer Evangelist reckons waiting for their Windows Phone 8 devices is the way to go. Responding to a question posed by a reader that indicated that they were still holding out for Windows Phone 8 before upgrading, Momii responded by saying the reader wont be "disappointed if they held out for an HTC Windows Phone 8 device."
Responding to another reader who said they "wanted to see HTC bring some quality Windows Phone 8 devices," Leigh Momii responded buy saying the reader was "in for a treat."
HTC's first generation Windows Phones were somewhat lacklustre. Despite releasing more devices than other manufactures, most tended to be recycled Android designs with average specs. Leigh Momii might be saying what any HTC-paid evangelist should be saying but we suspect their Windows Phone 8 devices will be impressive. HTC is rumoured to be readying three devices; a low-end, mid-range and high-end device. The high-end is rumoured to feature a 4.7-inch 720p Super LCD 2 display, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, 42Mbps HSPA+ and a quad-core Snapdragon processor. Now those specs would be a "treat" to any Windows Phone user. We hope the industrial design will match the specs that they wont be HTC One recycled designs.
Are you holding out for a Windows Phone 8 device? If so, what are you hoping for?
