AT&T Nokia Lumia 900's price slashed by 50% - Now $49.99

AT&T has slashed the price of the Nokia Lumia 900 from $99.00 to $49.00 with a two-year contract. The 50% price-cut comes after a few blogs correctly reported that AT&T were looking to lower the price of the Lumia 900 to differentiate from competitors.
The recently announced "Pink" version of the Lumia 900 will also make an appearance today, bring the choice of colours to 4 in the AT&T Nokia Lumia 900 range. AT&T already sell the cyan, black and white versions of the device.
Nokia and AT&T should be praised for being pro-active in trying to arrest flagging Lumia 900 sales. It remains to be seen whether potential Windows Phone users will be tempted by this offer, despite the fact that the device will not receive the impending Windows Phone 8 update. In saying that, not all smartphone buyers are bothered about software updates and the Lumia 900 will receive the lesser Windows Phone 7.8 update which will bring some Windows Phone 8 features.
Just as a reminder, the Nokia Lumia 900 comes with 4G LTE, an 8MP main camera, a 1.3 MP FF camera, a 4.3" AMOLED display, a 1.4Ghz processor and 16GB internal storage.
