Is the Samsung SGH-i687 a Windows Phone 8 launch device?

It wasn't going to be long before we started seeing some potential Windows Phone 8 devices come to light. It's usually some unscrupulous employee that does the job, a controlled "leak" by the manufacturer or as in the case here, a chance discovery. Someone has been sniffing around the Samsung website's User Agent Profile and has come across information about the SGH-i687.

What we have here is a Samsung Windows Phone 8 device. How do we know this? Well, the give-away is Internet Explorer 10, which we know is going to be Windows Phone 8′s default browser.

Of note is the somewhat disappointing 480x800 (WVGA) screen. Windows Phone 8 brings two higher resolutions and we naturally expected Samsung to bring out the big guns for the Windows Phone 8 launch. Could this be the lesser of two or three devices?

Another interesting point is the name of the device. Samsung's SGH-ixxx Windows Phone devices usually end up as AT&T's Focus devices. Remember that the original Focus bears the model number SGH-I917 and the follow-up, the Focus 2, is named the SGH-I667. Could this be the Samsung Focus 3? What do you guys think?
