Nokia begins 'Money Back Challenge' to boost Lumia 800 and 710 sales

Nokia are kicking off a new campaign in India dubbed the "Amazing Money Back Challenge," according to Tech2.in. The "Challenge" allows potential Windows Phone customers to purchase a Nokia Lumia 710 or 800 device and then return in within seven days for a full refund if they are not satisfied.
The campaign is live now on Nokia India's Facebook page and all you have to do is enter your contact details, select the store closest to you and wait for a call from them. Obviously, Nokia wouldn't do this without slapping on a tonne of conditions: the handset can only be returned if it's in a very good condition and all the accessories are present in the box. You can only return the phone to the store from where you've purchased it.
Unlike Tech2.in, we don't think this exercise reeks of desperation at all. In fact, we think it's genius and inspired. Obviously, should a lot of people buy devices and later return them, Nokia will find themselves with a lot of reconditioned phones to get rid of. We know how good Windows Phone is. When someone buys a device and uses it, we know it would be very difficult not to fall in love with Windows Phone.
