Greg Sullivan: Manufacturers doing some really cool things with Windows Phone 8

Senior Product manager for Windows Phone at Microsoft, Greg Sullivan, told Pocket-lint that Windows Phone 8's launch OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) are readying some cool features for the operating system's launch devices.

Speaking in a behind-closed-doors interview, Sullivan said:

Our hardware partners are doing some really cool things for the Windows Phone 8 launch. We are really excited by the hardware we are seeing from our current partners. We are big believers in them.

This should go a long way in dispelling the myth that Microsoft are readying their own Windows Phone device, much like they have with the Surface. It remains to be seen whether half-hearted partners like HTC and Samsung are going to be bringing innovative hardware and features to Windows Phone 8. One thing for certain is that Nokia are going to be "bringing out the big guns" because it's make or break for them.

What would your ideal Windows Phone 8 device have?
