Official Facebook app for Windows Phone updated to v2.6

Those of you that have been following WPSF for a while will know how much we have complained about the way Clarity Consulting (original app developers) handled the development of the official Facebook app. The initial Facebook app for WP7 was dire to say the very least and did not see any updates for months. And when the an update did come, it made the app worse. We're unsure as to whether Clarity Consulting are still responsible for the app at present, but if they still are, someone must have stuck a rocket up their backsides because there is a massive improvement now in the frequency and quality of the updates.
Version 2.6 is now in the Marketplace. The update brings a couple of bug fixes that many user have been emailing them about. They include:
- An image posted to a group was appearing on your own wall rather than the group
- Users with custom privacy settings set as their default were having their updates created with "Only Me" permissions
