Statcounter puts Windows Phone market share in China at 2.54%

According to the web traffic analysis tool, StatCounter, Windows Phone market share in China is a measly 2.54%. That obviously comes as a shock as we previously thought Windows Phone was trouncing the iPhone in China. Confused? You aren't alone.

Well, something isn't right here. If you look closely you can see that on June 20th the graph is showing 0,55% and then miraculously, it shoots up to 2,54% on the the 21st of June (within 24 hrs). We appreciate that these statistics are directly derived from daily hits but that can't account for the 2% discrepancy within 24 hrs. There is no other explanation except that his has got to be an error.
